Modern dance with a bit of a storyline
Havan_IronOak23 July 2002
This is more a filmed modern dance than a movie. The story opens with a young man being gay bashed and then includes scenes showing him in a self-defense class and at home and in bed with his lover. Inter-cut with this are scenes showing the gay basher and the woman that he hangs onto as his icon of straightness.

Overall, this piece is an above average film of a modern dance number but will not appeal to the general movie going audience gay or straight.

Beautiful dance
I was moved by this short film. The movements were beautifully done, and some of the motifs in the dance were replicated with different pairings to show power, control, defense, or love. The joy between the two male lovers was a pleasure to watch. It is hard to put into words the emotional appeal of the dances. Worth watching.
