Poorly made with very poor casting
lor_5 September 2019
One of veteran director Jack Genero's crummiest features, "Vote Pink" concerns a woman running for president, in the form of Governor Erica Pink. Movie self-destructs at the outset, with casting of unattractive Tanya Blake in this leading role, an actress who looks about 20 years old, hardly meeting the prexy's 35-yrs-old constitutional requirement.

Line readings are flat, and nothing interesting happens, merely brief humping scenes involving a group of campaign workers including Greg Rome aiding Pink and Greg Derek working on opponent Tony Martino's bid for the office. Misty Anderson and Roxanne Roland are blondes rounding out the femme cast, including a lesbian scene taking place in Pink's limousine while it's in motion.

Dumb ending can't come fast enough, in this 70-minute bit of filler, obviously made at a time when the Video Shacks of the world were awfully hungry for a flow of product, any product, to be displayed in their New Releases rental sections.
