Moran and Lyons are vacationing. They both fall in love with Victoria Forde. When she leaves, they all write and one morning the fellows get letters saying the first one to show up at her home will get some good news. So they race to the train station, and while they are on the train, a convict escapes and....
Well, we know how this one will go, at least as long as the convict is on screen. The bickering is pretty, and I'd like to tell you that the sequence in which they use a variety of vehicles to get to the train station is good. Unfortunately, that part is missing. Even so, it's a bit more in te slapstick style than usual for a movie with Al Christie as the dirctor; they kick each other in the pants.
Christie was working for Universal, operating as Nestor, which had originated as the West Coast branch of David Horsley's Centaur Pictures. Nestor was the first film company to actually set up a studio in Hollywood. It was consolidated into Universal Pictures.
