"Sherlock Holmes and he can't even find studio B"
boblipton6 March 2019
Some radio men come in and tell a columnist about how a radio "Sherlock Holmes" who even wears a deerstalker on occasion -- solved a mysterious death that aped the tale he told the even the real murder happened.

It's a bizarre little mystery with the solution obvious once you get into the studio where he has assembled the suspects -- although for reasons of movie convention rather than any clue.

Agatha Christie, it was said, would write a mystery, then decide who had comitted the murder and insert clues. This seems to follow that pattern.

Monte Brice's career as a director would peter out within a couple of years, although he would continue as a writer and script doctor for another thirty.
