This film is wrong on so many levels!

Warning: Spoilers
This is a very strange film that is guaranteed to offend most people. First, although the film is about Santa Claus, it is also a violent film with numerous gun fights and deaths. And, towards the end of the film, Jesus shows up to aid good old Saint Nick! As I said, it will definitely offend many people and you should NOT let kids who believe in the Kringle-meister to watch this film--it WILL traumatize them! Now, after giving this warning, I must point out that aside from being offensive and obviously an amateur production, the film is surprisingly well made, watchable and funny (in a "guilty pleasure" sort of way). When this 21 minute film concludes and you find out that it's only part one (and at this point, I don't think part two has been made), you may feel frustrated because you really want to know who and why some organization wants to kill Santa! Give it watch--just make sure the kids aren't around when you do this!

After thinking it over later, I deducted one more point, as the film shows Santa throwing up--something I just didn't need to see and which was out of place in this film.

Guns, blood, violence, humour, insanity, what more do you want?

This movie is great! I haven't seen part 2 yet but the first part is so funny, sure technically it's not fantastic but that's not what's important it's well structured & manages to keep you interested. Slapstick & just plain insanity prevail in this fantastic christmas cop show spoof!

Santa is Back! Only this time he's got an Uzi!

One of the best short student like films I've ever seen. It's fast paced, loud, and has lots of chase scenes! Well directed, edited, and a great cast! Santa kicks ass, and nothing beat him saying, "HO-HO-Holy S***!" Well done student film.

Should have won an Oscar.

"Dude, have you seen 'Vendetta' yet?" was all I was being asked by my friends. Not seeing a way to escape their pestering, I begrudgingly sat down to watch 'Vendetta' one afternoon, fully prepared for another mindless, shoot-em-up action flick.

What a surprise I was in for!

'Vendetta', for lack of a better expression, blew me away. The fluid camera movements combined with a riveting storyline and excellent character development kept me glued to the screen while the tightly-assembled soundtrack swept me away with screaming guitars and a pulsing techno beat. From extreme car chases, riveting gunplay, and blockbuster explosions to Santa at Taco Bell and Jesus in a minivan, 'Vendetta' has it all!

Christmas Classics Fatigue? TRY THIS, instead!
slowtraincoming-121 December 2013
Vendetta: A Christmas Story is fast, furious, and funny! Despite the look and feel of a weekender production made by friends with little money and even less to lose, this nano-budgeter is downright inspiring, considering its humble means. Chock full of clever gags, chases, and one absurd situation after another, it proves what is possible when a filmmaker, armed with wit, a camera, and not much else, sets out to entertain on purpose. I'm inspired every time I watch it. It reminds that film-making for the joy of film-making is a worthy ambition. And this lesson translates into every arena. Create art that YOU enjoy and you'll find your audience. If you've had your fill of the usual roster of Christmas classics, turn to this instead. Presented as two back-to-back episodes of the fictitious TV show, "Vendetta", we get a plot involving a failed raid which sends Santa fleeing for his life. Over-the-top by design, this is bare-knuckled, tongue-in-cheek entertainment that must be seen to be believed. Cinephiles who delight in finding hidden gems should check out this minor miracle. This Christmas truffle proves that good things still come in small packages. (As of this writing, the film can still be viewed for free on the web. Just google Vendetta Christmas and you'll hit their site.)
