'Playmate Erotic Adventures' is a high budget video from Playboy with a delicious box cover to boot. However be prepared for some wasted runtime and segments riding the gap between hot and not. It's always a coin toss with how these titles will go and a intro that goes on for too long is a sore point (2.5 mins) and unfortunately sums up where things are heading quality-wise.
"Desert Foxes" finds a guy on the desert roadside with a cherry red convertible and a flat tire. Two beautiful Playmates (Rebecca Scott, Deanna Brooks) stop to help, but after it's fixed they steal his ride & peel off to a motel with a pool where they strip naked and get wet. The guy uses their truck to catch up and proceeds to have a boy/girl session with the busty blonde Rebecca. A pleasant start (9 mins).
"Roll of the Dice" takes two subjects that go together - beautiful woman and gambling - and combines them to less than stellar results. Colorful props with Playmates (Kristi Cline, Layla Roberts) dancing and elements of a stage show. The sight of Kristi buck naked on top of the craps table was a nice sight though (4 mins).
"Pager Prank" harkens back to before modern cellphones. Two business men ogle an attractive lady (Layla Roberts) at a club and one wins out leaving with her in a cab. He has a naked fantasy of her stripping on a bed. Then gets a page from the other business man messing with him that she's really a guy so he bails. More time is pent on story than nudity (5.5 mins).
"Roman Holiday" is an ancient Rome boy/girl (Jennifer Rovero) followed by a girl/girl (Kristi Cline). Andy Sidaris regular Christian Letelier appears as the dude. Decent shots during the girl/girl on the bed and then in a bath (9 mins). "Make a Wish" is a birthday striptease in a club. A guy watches as his lady (Tishara Cousino) shows off her wicked hot body in different poses plus he gets a bit of a lapdance. Man I would have been so tempted to grab, lick or kiss her boobs if they were shoved in my face that close. The only problem with this scene is it's too short (3 mins).
"Splendor in the Grass" has a lady (Kristi Cline) hang laundry outdoors and then lay naked on a blanket as her male neighbor watches on. Some nice closeups (5 mins). "Wild Wild Web" is a dude choosing "the perfect playmate" on a computer. His selections lead to strips from Victoria Silvstedt, Alexandria Karlsen, Tishara Cousino. Assuming for the moment this is new material, Victoria's only lasts 30 seconds. Alex & Tishara get 40 seconds each. Then a pointless bit about losing the power and how Tish is his next door neighbor (5 mins).
"Spellbound" is a wacky segment involving a couple, magic and witches. The women inside the mansion (Jami Ferrell, Elke Jeinsen, Rebecca Scott) start popping up as naked visions. The husband goes off with Jami for some kissing and her solo posing. While the wife (Vanessa Gleason) gets taken upstairs by Elke & Rebecca and they have a sexy threesome (9 mins).
It's hard to be happy with 'Erotic Adventures' as the quality of the segments is inconsistent and all over the map. Too much time gets spent on story or we have scenes that are too short. Good moments like "Make A Wish" standout in particular - but as a whole this video underwhelmed and doesn't give you the level of consistent goodness you're looking for in a Playboy title.
