For its budget and scale this was an excellent movie. Dialogue was great between characters, jokes were solid, characters enjoyable, even the acting was pretty solid. Some problems early and mid-way with pace. Characters tended to be rushed in the beginning. Originally written as a play. Ending was solid and came together nice. Sound editing really bad in a few spots, as well as voice overs not matching. A romantic comedy, set in So Cal modern times. 5 friends all with separate attitudes being guys. Greg,(lead) falls in love with a girl whose boyfriend hasn't been around in awhile. When he comes back, well, you'll see. Definitely worth checking out.

Smart, Sexy, and Funny

I saw this at a film festival and it was a pleasant surprise. This film is a hidden gem, as long as you're not expecting a lot of big budget tricks. The filmmakers do a lot with a low budget. They concentrate on story, character, and dialogue.

Khrystyne Haje and Larry Toffler have nice chemistry and the supporting characters provide comic relief. The film explores relationships in a fun, sexy way, dealing with two characters who may or may not be meant to be. I enjoyed this thoroughly and so did the festival audience. When it gets out on DVD, people really should rent it.

But does he really never bluff?
