Goes over on the strength of the settings
deickemeyer14 October 2017
This story was written for the purpose of using the great reunion at Gettysburg in July as a background. The opening scenes show the veterans arriving by train. There is a fine panoramic view of the encampment, with the thousands of tents undoubtedly the record area of canvas in the United States since the days of the Civil War. The picture easily goes over on the strength of the settings. - The Moving Picture World, August 9, 1913
