Rather Entertaining

This Fishman character's on to something! I LOVE how he brought back the lovely Christine Lakin in a role other than her squeaky-clean good girl TV image. I recently searched for this movie on the DVD shelves of Wal-Mart, with no such luck. So I purchased "License To Drive" instead, starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. "License To Drive" depicts a wild night on the town involving a sixteen year-old (Haim) who recently flunked his driver's exam, steals his grandfather's prized Cadillac, and embarks on a joyride with his friends. "Getting Out" tops "License To Drive," so if you enjoyed the Feldman/Haim classic, you'll be sure to cruise to a smile with this one!

One word...one word only....WOW!!!

Just saw the most recent Aaron Fishman film Getting Out. A beautiful blend of pure-bred humor with witty cynicism on the world of dating. The comedic writing duo of Peffer and Feinstein have done it again bringing us 30 minutes of brilliance and fun. The film harks back to the olden days of cinema (No I won't elaborate on that!). Fishman brings us to a world that I had only dreamed about, and in the end I was left thirsting for more. Who is this Aaron Fishman, and when will Hollywood wake up and discover this undiscovered treasure. I think Fishman, I think Kevin Smith. It is only my hope that we see alot more from him in the future. I will note that Brian David Cohen performs brilliantly, even going so far as to show us his ass in one scene. Nothing wrong with a little male nudity. Am I right or am I right?!

A clever look at the world of relationships.

This was one of the best short films I've ever seen. The story was interesting and well paced, and the dialogue was hysterical. But most importantly for a short, the production values were as good as I've ever seen. This film must have been shot in 35mm. Furthermore, the performances were inspired, especially the lead played by Brian David Cohen. The direction was also well done, and the cinematography was phenomenal. The score was superb, as was the editing. I can't say enough about how impressed I was by this film.

I was very fortunate to obtain a copy of the video of this short film. It's very funny. All of the actors do very well especially Chad Allen who portrays Steve the main characters best friend. Please catch it when you can!
