Sex & Nudity

  • No actual nude scenes. There is a scene with a teacher giving a sex education lesson with an undetailed drawing of a male and female body on a blackboard behind him.
  • It is implied that Judy was making love with her boyfriend. In addition to warning viewers against communism, the film also denounces pre-marital sex.

Violence & Gore

  • Several scenes of people including children are being gunned down. Their death scenes are unrealistic.
  • Children are being hog tied by soldiers.
  • A child has a large nail rammed through his ear by a soldier. Moderately bloody result. The child also vomits.
  • Scenes of children with their throats slit. Only the aftermath is shown and not the actual act.
  • A man is hanging in mid-air with ropes attached to him and bloody from a brutal torture session.
  • A man is force-fed spoonfuls of salt.
  • A man is dangling on a rope held by children. The children then release the rope, causing the man to fall on a bunch of partially buried pitch forks and impaling him. Moderately bloody aftermath.
  • An officer decapitates a boy for refusing to renounce Christianity by stamping on a picture of Jesus (at the officer's behest). The head is seen rolling away. Easily the most violent part of the film.
  • An officer enters a couple's home, demanding he spend the night with them. When the man refuses, the officer then brings out a gun and bashes the man in the back, rendering him unconscious. The officer throws the man outside his house and it is strongly implied he is going to rape the woman.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some people are seen drinking and smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scenes of violence may disturb some viewers.
