This movie was the greatest anime of all time
oniisamatatsuya29 December 2016
Bro this anime was really awesome. I've watched it about fifty times since Christmas back in 2003 when it aired on Cartoon Network. I loved it when I was a kid and I love it even more now. The plot is smart, and deals with the struggles of an African American elf that raps and changes hearts. The cast of characters is brilliantly realized. The villain isn't so villainous but he does a good tragic role. The voice acting is better than Metal Gear Solid. The animation is better than Sword Art Online. And Elvin is the greatest rapper ever. This has greater characters and lore than even the most scientific films. Overall this is my favorite anime of all time and you should watch it.

Clever Hip-Hop take on the classic poem
redbeard_nv24 December 2005
The story of an elf named Elvin with a love of hip-hop music and a need to modernize Santa's toy line is a clever re-telling in rap and rhyme of the famous poem, featuring stand-up artist and MadTV alumni Aries Spears in the lead, with a collection of rap stars like Tone Loc and Earthquake backing him up in what surprisingly turns out to be a great morality tale of redemption and discovery.

It is a perfect vehicle for the new urban youth whose tastes have evolved from the traditional Yule tide fare. Produced and developed by American hip-hop artists, but visually churned out by one of the many Korean animation groups which seems to be taking over animation duties on much of the cartoon market on television these days, Disney it ain't, but considering what Disney has been churning out and ripping off as of late, that may not be a bad thing after all. Usually shows up on Turner's Cartoon Network for one or two showing each year, it's worth the watch.

ever seen the wiz

Warning: Spoilers
its like that but Christmas. all of the characters were extremely dynamic and it was fun to pay attention to how they developed throughout the movie. my favourite was jello cause she was thicc. it was unfortunate that the movie didn't include any of the series' classic characters, like sonic the hedgehog or yugi moto. i was glad to see that the show was filmed in front of a live studio audience, it is good to see that the company is keeping their audience organic. the part about pinning the nine year old down in boise, idaho was a bit too mature for a family movie about Christmas. spoiler alert: i wanted them all to die by the end. another spoiler; i personally felt that this film, about slim shorty, was a blatant case of copyright infringement against eminem and his movie 8 mile. best movie i've ever seen, and i've seen shrek.
