"Night Journey" is a 55-year-old black-and-white film made by Austrian Alexander Hammid. The director scored several nominations with the Academy for his short film (documentary) work, so I hoped for something good, but unfortunately this is not what it turned out. Basically, this is a half-hour film that shows us the story of Oedipus and his mother, the latter being played by multiple Emmy-nominee Martha Graham. I have to say watching this stage play dance show without voices on a screen does kill all the magic if there ever has any been to it. Not recommended and I recommend to watch something like this rather at your local theater and not on a screen. Not works as a medium for that matter. Watch something else.
