I remember back in 1995 when this came out, as well as being ported to the Sega Saturn. I purchased and was blown away by what I found. The story is as follows: Its 1997 and in a local area hospital in downtown Los Angeles, a mass murder has taken place. The murder is one Richter Harris. Harris has barricaded himself in the hospital where police can no longer reach him. His daughter Laura Harris is contacted and rushes to the scene of the crime. Laura slow begins to edge toward the hospital to go in and find out what has made this respected doctor, her father, kill.
This game was incredibly cinematic. I'll never forget the opening scene when there are multiple mutilated bodies upon entry of the hospital. It was basically over looked, but the main character Laura went on to star in several other games. A spin off called Enemy Zero and D's sequel D2. All three are on Sega consoles and the last 2 are only on Sega Saturn & Sega Dreamcast. For me it was better than Resident Evil; its not a copy off as it came out before Resident Evil. If you like grotesque horror I would run to the stores and get it! Its still is to this day one of if not my favorite.(Get the Sega Saturn version because it has all the deleted scenes not featured in other versions!)
