- A boy asks another boy if he wants to see a bra and then continues to put one on himself (clothed).
- Several teen characters are shown kissing.

- The main character throws a cello through the window of a house in a drunken rage. A man trips over a bicycle, and then picks it up and throws it across the lawn in anger.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Parents are shown having a heated, shouting argument in front of their two teenaged sons; the argument ends with the father packing a suitcase and leaving the house. A boy is verbally assaulted by his brother while he is in the shower; the shower curtain is torn down, but there is no physical violence. There are several uncomfortable scenes in which the main character, a stutterer, struggles to get words out.
