ADVENTURES OF THE FALCON "Kiss Me Not" 1956
This is the 15th episode of the 39 episode run of the 1954 to 1956 series, ADVENTURES OF THE FALCON. Film noir icon Charles McGraw headlines as Mike Waring, an agent of the U.S. Government. The series follows McGraw as he travels the world putting the kibosh on various criminals and foreign agents. The series is loosely based on the FALCON series of films of the 1940's.
The U.S. Government sends agent Mike Waring (Charles McGraw) to help grab a Mob hit-man. The hit-man, John Dehner had bumped off a Mob rival and everyone is out to kill him. Another problem for Agent McGraw is that a rather naive girl, Nancy Gates, has fallen for the gun happy rat, Dehner. McGraw wants to make sure the girl is returned to her parents unharmed.
McGraw tracks down Dehner and Gates at a small country cottage. He tries to take Dehner alive but the play backfires. It is McGraw who ends up as the hostage. Now one of the rival mob shows and there is a fast exchange of lead with the rival being corked.
Dehner though has picked up a bullet where it counts. He does the right thing for once and tells the girl, Gates, to take off with McGraw. He knows that he is going to die.
