Floyd Is Turned Down Again
Hitchcoc3 January 2020
The council is trying to figure out what to do with 1200 dollars and all but one of them want a statue of Andy's great-great grandfather. He was pivotal in the development of Mayberry. Floyd had an ancestor as well, but his proposal is squelched. Things take an interesting turn, however, that needs to be dealt with. It's a pretty lame episode.

Borrows much from "Battle of Mayberry".

No laughs. Mostly sentimental. Highlight is Floyd (Howard McNear) having an opposing view and not letting anyone forget about it. Not a lot to the episode to analyze it was so blandly written.
