"Appendicitis" has Yemana complaining of stomach pains, until it's revealed to be an attack of appendicitis, leaving him sprawled across Wojo's desk. The 12th is visited by a recent transfer from Brooklyn, Able Kleiner (Jack Bernardi, first of two), who claims to be a sharp eyed bounty hunter. After he spots a wanted criminal's hideaway, it's Levitt who helps him make the payoff. Pinched at a candy store, Michael Durrell (first of two) plays an addict of the 'white powder,' which makes him do strange things to get a 'fix.' Barney's belief that it's heroin is somewhat off base- sugar (Barney: "what'd he do?" Dietrich: "grabbed a lady's nougat!" Harris: "he was cramming the junk in his face!").
