I really did want to enjoy this episode. In fact, there were moments when the script showed some real promise. Don't get me wrong: I think it was a wonderful idea having Bob and Emily fantasize about what their lives would have been like without each other; and, it did shine brightly a time or two.
But so many of the episodes from this final season just seem to lack the life and energy needed to put it over. This episode is no exception.
On the plus side, I do like the idea of having the series regulars (minus Bob's patients) take on different roles. Special mention must be made of Peter Bonerz. He does a very funny job of taking on two different personalities within the two "segments" of this episode. His was the brightest spot.
The series was tired, and it comes through often during the 6th season. But I'll always love Bob and Emily.
