Richie and Eddie prepare to go on holiday.
This episode is a feast of visual humour as the central characters perform numerous feats of slapstick violence. The plot is fairly non existent as they attempt a variety of dangerous tasks in order to get themselves in physical shape for their trip to Bridlington. The standout moments for me were their homemade attempt at liposuction and Eddie's drunken return from checking how long it takes to walk to the bus station.
It contains plenty of the usual type of banter as they plan their holiday and generally insult each other. The concept of their holiday being in Bridlington and location of their hotel always makes me laugh. Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson play off each other superbly well as always.
For me the slapstick dominates a bit too much but its still a solid half an hour of BBC comedy.
