Toody The Crook - A Classic Episode
ccthemovieman-124 November 2011
This is one of the more famous episodes in the two-year history of the show, and deservedly so - it is a great example of the comic genius of writer Nat Hiken.

Without giving away too much, there are some hoods in town that the cops would like to arrest, but they need an undercover guy, if possible, to help them. Toody, who would be the last cop offered the job, winds up with it and the results are hilarious.

The repeated line, "Cops! He said Cops," by a stunned Captain Block is a memorable line (you have to see it, to appreciate it).

Block also sums it up when he asks, "How can a guy be so dumb as a cop and be so smart as a crook?" That's what Toody is transformed into because the crooks think he's a genius. How is that? Well, you'll have to watch. It's currently playing on METV.

Don't miss this, if you're a fan of the show.
