This episode introduced Helen's sisters Rita and Amy, showcasing by the very first time the conflictive relationship she had with her family (Thus explaining her competitive behavior in the series).
While the fandom loves aunt Amy for bonding with Daria, for me the unsung hero from this episode was Garrett, Quinn's love interest of the day, the only one who gave the creep minister a very well deserved punch in the face. Helen, being to focused on her own conflict with her sister, remained completely unaware of the situation, but I'm kinda surprised Daria didn't even try to do something, other making a very small snide remark.
Seriously, it almost seem a bit out of character for her.
Kinda wish that creep minister had been taken by the police at the end, instead of showing him targeting a new young victim, which ruined my enjoyment for this episode despite all its good qualities.
Seriously, what was the point of adding such kind of character and treating it like a gag? Compare this with the episode "Lucky Strike", where a similar situation is treated accordingly.
At least Jake got a happy ending. Sorta.
Luhrmann was cool, kinda wish he had appeared more often in the series.
6.5/10 (It would be a 9 if at least that gross minister had received any sort of proper comeuppance)
