Mr. Wilson is an animal lover more than he knows. George Wilson finds a dog or is it vice versa? George does like attention but not enough to put up with inconvenience. And poor Mr. Wilson can't avoid the police. Not the best episode for encouraging animal ownership. It sure is funny. Pet owners would be in a world of hurt if they had animal allergies as often as they develop in comedies. It's fun to see Dennis play off his parents in one scene and Mr. Wilson in the next. It's almost like Wilson is in every scene as much as he is talked about when the character is off camera. That might be to let us know George is about to be annoyed by Dennis. As if we need a telegraph.
