The first half of this episode didn't seem to be going anywhere, but the second half was pure Mametian for sure, so I was quite pleased with the pay-off.
I like Diagnosis Murder, and this episode had a funny swipe at Murder, She Wrote, which was axed just a couple of years earlier. The reference to "Do you think you're Jessica Fletcher" made me laugh out loud.
