I'm Sure-- He's the One!
dougdoepke28 April 2007
Superior episode with a few surprises. Robert Crosson effectively portrays a teen-age robbery suspect. He's eager to cooperate, but to Friday, he's a little too eager. Crosson's sympathetic and long-suffering dad comes in to find out why the sudden turn to crime. Crosson eventually comes up with an understandable explanation. Somehow the interrogation scene reminds me of the James Dean interview in Rebel Without a Cause, and judging from the respective production dates, there may be an overlap. Good human interest, the real strength of the series. Also, gutsy excursion into eye-witness testimony. Also notable for Frank's flirtation with alternative medicine. Friday's understandably skeptical, while Frank is treated with conventional condescension. Too bad. Who would suspect that Frank's sometimes questionable comic relief might mask real insight.
