Karen Cellini
I was just about to post another nag about the inadequacy of Karen Cellini, when, during the closing stages of the episode, she showed, for the first time, a considerable amount of spark, which, in all fairness, should be positively commented on. Nothing can change the fact that she couldn't have fit in and shouldn't have been chosen to do so AND that Aaron Spelling should have given Catherine Oxenberg that raise FOR THE SERIES SUFFERS IMMENSELY BECAUSE OF THAT LOSS but I'm prepared to say that Karen Cellini could have had a place in the series JUST NOT AS AMANDA CARRINGTON.

Hope ol' Dianne Carroll stays away. Meanwhile, Kate O'Mara, hell old girl, there sure wasn't much chance that she'd win any trophies for acting, huh? That "you scum!" bit with her attacking Ben, gee, I'd attack him for less than a tenth of her pay with more gusto.

Too little of Heather Locklear. And what there was, paled in comparison to previous offering.

Cardboard character. Bad guy Ben is just thoroughly despicable, not in any way somebody worth watching, he is just like a pesky bug that should be stomped.

Fiery performance. Episode clearly shows Leann Hunley should have tried out for replacing Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon. She'd have been ten times better at it than Emma Samms.
