Sisters Bertrille and Sixto go to an antique store in town to sell a brass bed. The shopowner Antonio Fuentes (Titos Vandis) is being pressured by his wife Angela (Athena Lorde) to get rid of his donkey Hector. A brass bed for Hector swap is made. The convent finds nothing but trouble from the mischievous burro. Antonio refuses to take the burro back and falls into the most unfortunate series of luck. Sister Bertrille takes Hector to the doctor who "prescribes" a rottweiler named Barnaby as a companion that could change his personality. Bad luck has Antonio at his wits end, feeling he is cursed. Carlos tells him to make things right with the convent, but can he break his shifty ways?
