In flying while decorating for the bishop's (Edward Colmans) retirement party Sister Bertrille falls and breaks her leg. Her sister Dr. Jennifer Ethrington (Elinor Donahue, "Father Knows Best", "The Andy Griffith Show") is visiting for much needed peace and relaxation. While Sister Bertrille is in the hospital Jennifer stays at the convent. She finds her medical duties hard to shake and Carlos gives false occupations to inquiring guests at the party, which leads to trouble.
I noticed at the beginning of the episode that Sally Field looked and sounded ill. Perhaps that's why she is relegated to very minimal screen time only at the beginning and end. Weak offering, in my opinion, that makes you wonder if the writers took the week off and the director said 'ah, let's just see where it goes'.
