A rather good Ford Theatre episode, hesitating between noir and drama, which tells us the story of an ex-con and former prince of the underworld - Edward G Robinson - who, after been released from jail, learns that his son became a petty hood. So, as you may guess, he'll try everything to take him out of the wrong way. Nothing really new here, and a very predictable ending will not surprise you. The young man will pull a fur warehouse robbery with some of his friends, and his father will interfere with the job, being shot by the police.
A very moral tale, but which will entertain you enough, just before or after lunch time.
I don't know the director. I guess it's a TV episode or film maker.
