Poccari is asked to investigate The Treviso dam, Carlo Francini claims inferior materials are being used, when Poccari arrives, he learns that Carlo has fallen to his death.
Alan Bates and Judith Dench, not an Oscar winning movie, but the concluding episode of this hugely entertaining series. Initially I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn't a concluding episode that features all four men, but Treviso Dam is an excellent finale.
Credit to the production team, the visuals are fantastic, even the sets (which of course are a little clunky,) look passable, and that death scene looked pretty great, very bleak.
Fenella Fielding clearly had some fun as the whimsical Contessa, so over the top. George Pastell was great as Mazza, what a presence.
A shame this was the final episode, but this show probably wasn't cheap to make, and having all four actors free must have been challenging.
8/10.
