Dr. Dare or Dr. Death?
mitchrmp14 April 2014
Scott Bayo...need I say more? Though I remember him as Charles in Charge, others remember him from Happy Days. He plays a pretty rough, footloose and fancy free sort of character in this episode. Before Jessie moved in with Danny he lived a pretty wild life with booze, girls, and lots of wild partying. Now his best friend picks at him for turning into Dr. Seues.

Lots of singing in this episode. Danny is actually pretty nice and mild when he comes home and finds a party in his living room, compared to the way he acted last time. Becky, on the other hand, is very very angry and looks like she wants to kill Jessie. But she simply tells him to tell his girlfriend goodnight and send her on her way.

Unfortunately, Jessie gets a bit too much ribbing from his old friend and decides to do his Dr. Dare motorcycle stunt again...that is unless Becky can stop him!

Season 3's Best Episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Jesse is the coolest character on the show. The leather, motorcycles, danger, and rock n roll fused together make any character awesome. This episode is dedicated to that side of him, something we have not gotten a full dosage of since the series has focused on Jesse as a family man.

Scott Baio makes a guest appearance as Jesse's best, Pete Bianco. Pete's been traveling through Europe ever since Jesse moved into the Tanner house and he has just returned to San Fransisco. Pete and Jesse want to hang out like their old times: sex, parties, booze and rock. Their old friends, flames and band members get called over for a big reunion. Pete and Jesse partying and rocking out like they used to is awesome. Pete gets an old video tape from 1983 that shows Jesse (whose nick-name was Dr. Dare) performing a dangerous stunt with his motorcycle. Pete then teases Jesse about not being a daredevil anymore, going "from Dr. Dare to Dr. Seuss." Jesse takes it to heart and goes to reenact his old stunt. Pete follows him apologizing and the rest of his friends show up to stop him from doing it. Jesse eventually chickens out. Pete hits the road again, but not without embracing his best friend. Jesse simply misses the days when he was party animal, sex machine and daredevil. But he also loves his family very much.

The subplots involve Michelle being mad a Comet for eating her ice cream. The other involves Danny and Becky being sent to Los Angeles for the day, coming back in makeovers. When they do come back, Becky is jealous to see Jesse's old girlfriend, Donna at the reunion. Both are great.

I've always liked Scott Baio. His times on Happy Days and Charles In Charge made him one of tv's top stars. Making him a character similar to Jesse but more rebellious in an episode about Jesse's past has the making for a classic.

This is the best episode of the season and one of the best episodes in the series. Well, its one of my favourites.
