So many forgettable episodes I can't count them all
FriedToast0214 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season is the king of forgettable episodes there like 5 in a row. This one is just plain stupid. Michelle tells an adult about their secret club and gets kicked. This ones a nail biter will she get back in the group ur on the edge of your toes the whole time. Alr some decent parts is how far the guys will go for the girls which is cool to see, the scene at the mall is pretty funny, but other than that it's really forgettable like most of season, but I actually enjoy a lot of the forgettable episodes in this season but a lot of them are bad like this one.

Three Goodies.

I have said in many 'Full House' reviews prior to this how great episodes are that have multiple plots that are all strong. Here is one added to that list.

Seeing one of Jesse's old KISS shirts prompts him and Becky to write lists of old lovers.

Kimmy starts dating Nelson and it has DJ jealous.

Michelle is a a secret club of the "Mighty Mutant Super Kids". She spilled the beans and is kicked out, so the guys try to buy her way back in.

The bulk of this is about loyalty and not being so hard on friends. So Michelle gave away their secret, is that any reason to kick her out?

This episode never sat right with me

Warning: Spoilers
The lesson should have been: "It's okay to keep safe secrets from adults", but no, the lesson was: "It's okay to keep all secrets from adults".

Keeping secrets from my parents is why I was groomed for far longer than I would have been, if I hadn't kept the secret that I was talking to a grown man online.

Yeah, Yeah, I know.

"It's not that deep bro"

But I'm sorry, it's a dangerous lesson, and the episode should have been pulled. Obviously I'm not talking about kids secretly getting a gift for their Parents or Guardians and keeping that a secret. That's fine, but this secret club that the kids had, that no adult knew about, until Michelle accidentally told Danny about it?

In the words of Michelle herself,

No way José!

Let's flip the perspective and make everyone but Michelle an adult. These little boys are now grown men that Michelle has a secret club with. Those grown men told Michelle not to talk about the secret club. Still sound okay? Your answer better have been no. Yeah, IMVU wasn't a thing yet, but grooming wasn't invented by the internet. Yes, that's not what the secret was, nor was that the plot of the episode. Let's put a different spin on this.

Imagine that Danny had an uncle. Now, let's imagine that said Uncle was molesting Danny when he was the same age as Michelle in this episode.

Danny turns on the TV and sees an episode of his favorite TV show with this bad lesson.

"See? My uncle said it's okay to keep the secret that he's doing this from my parents, and so did my favorite show. So this is okay".

Doesn't seem like an okay lesson for a kid's show does it?
