A beautiful episode but a rather old theme. A person is snubbed by those with pretensions to minor eminence while the person with a much more valid claim to it proves to be truly noble. Mrs. Forbes-Craigie, a lady from Great Britain is sucked up to by a couple of women that are merely pretentious. They snub Hazel when they find out she is merely a maid. They get a bit of a comeuppance when Mrs. F-C wishes to have her meal served in her room and invites Hazel to share it with Hazel and not the other two. A very warm story. Before this, Hazel does a favor to one of the maids whose fiance is leaving for a posting that very day.
