Alan hosts an award ceremony for a fireplace company.
This is a very strong episode with both Alan and Michael on great form.
The plot uses a tried and tested formula with Alan bantering with the series regulars and having a disastrous meeting with a guest character. This builds up to an event that goes about as badly as you would you expect. All of it is done well and creates numerous funny situations. The dialogue is fantastic as always.
My favourite scene by a mile is the meeting in Alan's makeshift conference room, where we not only have great dialogue, but are simultaneously treated to a brilliant ongoing visual gag involving a toilet door.
Steve Coogan is as excellent as always. Simon Greenall has a bit more screen time than usual and he is superbly funny.
For me it's an 8.5/10 but I round upwards.
