Jack is going by train to New York for some "sponsor" business. The first half of this episode stays right in the Benny home as Jack trades one-liners with Rochester, the plumber (Mel Blanc), has two unique calls from a fat lady who has the wrong number and thinks she is calling her boyfriend to come over and elope with her. Don Wilson also is there, as he's traveling with Benny, but he's a straight man for Jack, not someone who provides comedy.
Finally, they get to the station where there are some other quick gags with the p.a. announcer, the eloper, Rochester, the ticket master and just every other regular who showed most weeks on the Benny show. The entire half-hour is comprised of many small skits.
Overall, this was okay but nothing special. Jack finished the show on a sour note: playing his violin!
