A decent episode that keeps you entertained...

Although yet again in this episode we see the recurring problem of Howard's extramarital relationship with Marina this time the variation in narrative is plausible enough to keep things interesting.

There are a few key moments that will be sure to please, such as Eli's appearance and the episodes humorous conclusion.

Whilst not amongst the best episodes in the series this one gains some finesse from its lack of plot convolution. That, and the fact it really is quite funny make it deserve 7 stars.

7* - Great

The Glamour of the Uniform

A traffic warden has taken a shine to Marina which has made Howard jealous. He threatens to go and join the French Foreign Legion, although I am not sure they would have him at his age.

Foggy has a better idea, get a uniform from Auntie Wainwright's shop after she has branched out in selling costumes.

Howard does get a Foreign Legion outfit and Pearl sees him in it and thinks he really has joined up. However she gets angry when he sees him and Marina riding a bike.

A fun episode but nothing much more than that. The best bit was to see Smiler dressed up as a jester and Eli as a vampire.
