Laverne and Shirley dance with frat boys to prove they're just as hip. Cute to see Tracy have a scene with Laverne (considering she's Penny Marshall's actual daughter) even Laverne's date says she's a lot like you I wonder if that was a nod.

Mildly entertaining
LaverneandShirleysucks20 February 2022
Shirley picks up a 19 year old while roller skating at the park. He says he turns 20 in July, but since we have no idea what month it is who knows how long that is from then?

She and Laverne double date with him and his overweight friend and after the date they bring the girls to a frat house where they're having a party. One girl ridiculously mistakes Shirley for the guy's mother when she hardly looks old enough for that. His big sister perhaps, but you'd have to be blind and stupid to think Shirley was his mother.

There's not many laughs to be found here, nor are Lenny & Squiggy to be found either and for the second episode in a row when they were in just about every episode prior. I wonder what was going on there because there was famously a lot of backstage drama going on by this point in the show. I remember reading a lot about it in my grandmothers Enquirer magazines at the time.

I think this could've been better had they showed a more seriously the differences between someone 19 and 28 dating, but this fluff show was never known to scratch more than the surface of any given topic which was a shame. I give this 3 stars for being mildly entertaining.
