Sleep Talkers Are Unreliable
hogwrassler9 February 2021
The Ranger and Tonto encounter Kenny Austin, who was bushwhacked but not injured. He tells them that he is a government geologist who has found that the land around the town of Franklin is rich in oil. Unfortunately, Kenny talks in his sleep and was overheard by Newton Larch, the crooked hotel owner in Franklin. Now Larch has conspired with swindler Leland Spinner to buy up all the land. Larch was the one who shot at Kenny. The bad guys have already bought up a couple of the ranches and the Ranger will have to figure a way to get those deeds back. But Kenny is still staying at the hotel. Will his sleep talking spill the beans to Larch? Todd Karns plays Kenny. When viewed from the side, he seems to bear a striking resemblance to a young Robert Vaughn. This is a good John Hart as The Ranger episode.
