Clayton Moore Rides Again!
hogwrassler12 March 2021
Locksmith Clay Trowbridge has been wrongly accused of robbery and murder. He is on the run. But then the real killer is arrested and Clay is cleared and actually receives a pardon from the governor. Clay doesn't know that he is a free man and it's up to The Ranger and Tonto to find him before he actually does commit a crime. And outlaws Blaze and Stack want to use Clay's locksmith skills to help them rob a stagecoach and break into the strongbox. The bad guys threaten Clay's loyal girlfriend Rosita if he doesn't join them in their life of crime. It's going to be a tough job for our heroes. This episode features some excellent horseback riding stunt work, especially by the stuntman wearing a black wig and doubling Charlita, who plays Rosita.

This first episode of season 4 marks the return of Clayton Moore as The Ranger. The fans just wouldn't accept John Hart as The Masked Rider of the Plains. Hart's deadpan delivery of his lines didn't work well with Jay Silverheels similar line delivery. Clayton Moore had just the right amount of intensity to give a real personality to the character even though his face was hidden behind a mask. For most fans, Clayton Moore will always be THE Lone Ranger.

Clayton Moore is back... and better than ever.

After several episodes with the dull John Hart, Clayton Moore returns to the role that he created, and all is well.

From the beginning, The Lone Ranger and Tonto look wonderfully recovered. There they are on Silver and Scout ready for a new assignment to save the West from another adventure.

Seems as though Clay Trowbridge and his wife, the lovely Rosita are in distress as he doesn't seem to get a decent job for himself now that he has escaped from prison. Also, he doesn't see to know that he has a pardon from the Governor of the state. So e decides he has nothing left to do but to go back to the outlaws with whom he has worked to do yet another job just as wrong as the one which imprisoned him. Rosita tells him that she has hope, but he isn't convinced. Besides, Rosita too has her own similar problem.

Enter the Lone Ranger and Tonto, but they have 2 things to do to fix the situation and they must stop him before he ruins the pardon as he commits yet another crime.

Clay Trowbridge knows nothing about any of this. Hence, the plot you have to watch it and see.

A thrilling episode and the acting is some of the best with excellent casting like John Doucette and Denver Pyle from the usual cast.

Clayton Moore is back and in his prime once more.

The Lone Ranger rides again!
