Wonderful Outdoor Locations

Charles Stevens plays the titular character. He is an Indian chief with two sons, one of whom will become chief. One is college educated and wants to adopt the ways of the white man while the other wants to go on the warpath. Charles Stevens played indians for most of his long career, but his father was actually an Arizona sheriff and his mother was from Mexico. He was always convincing in any role he played. Massachusetts born Edmund Hassim is Little Hawk, the enlightened older college educated son. It's fun watching Clayton Moore put on a fancy gun twirling exhibition. He could really handle a six gun! The outdoor location shooting really stands and I think think one was shot in Kanab, Utah. Good color episode.
