Mike and Nikki go undercover
Paularoc6 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Mr. And Mrs. Duval, a loving couple who have been married for many decades, have just returned to their apartment from a night at the opera. When the husband answers the doorbell he is shot to death. It seems there have been a number of thefts at this luxury apartment building. All of the wealthy residents who had been robbed had insurance with the Great Pacific Insurance Company so Longstreet comes up with the plan that he and Nikki, posing as a wealthy married couple, will take an apartment in the building; a scheme that Paige reluctantly supports. Once in the apartment, they begin to throw a lot of money around as a ploy to entice the thieves to rob them. In this episode Mike, after practicing at a gun range, decides that he will start carrying a gun, a decision that later allows Mike to capture the killer. Paige is skeptical about the idea of Mike carrying a gun. I am too, it's just a bit too much that a blind man would find it useful, or safe, to be toting a gun. One of the highlights of the episode was Josephine Hutchinson as Mrs. Duval. She was one of the solid character actors (one of those "I recognize the face but can't remember the name" actors) who always add value to any show they're in.
