Another fine written episode

Binghamton is sitting around the officer's club and is listening to everyone tell about their combat experience. Binghamton has nothing to tell because he has had a desk job the entire war. With McHale on leave, Binghamton takes command of PT 73. Now he sets sail looking for some type of action.

The crew of the 73 is desperately trying to find Binghamton anything to shoot at on any island. They get the idea of dressing up like a Japanese and letting Binghamton take a few blank shots at them so he thinks he has seen action. But when Tinker sets out to an island where he will pose as a Jap, he finds that the island is really occupied by an entire unit of Japanese soldiers. Captain Binghamton is on his way.

This is another fine show that features Joe Flynn at his best as Captain Binghamton. The show was enjoyable to watch as it seemed something interesting was going on the entire time. Good to see so many fine shows as the characters are becoming part of the viewer's family. Good watch.
