The sillier the season gets, the better it is.

This episode has a special place in my heart, for introducing me to the show, back when I was too young to appreciate it. I remember thinking the scene when Kimberly burns the couch, under Betsy's influence, was hilarious. And I still do, but now I'm here for it. Her split personality disorder, was clearly a way to try to upstage last year's Henry storyline. But I like the tackiness in this show. Billy finally becomes a full blown bad guy, and it strangely make him more tolerable. When he gets in Brooke's shoes. And sows the seeds of his bad behavior (or possession?) later on the season. Jake however, don't need that. He's just too self destructive to admit people he look up to, are flawed as well. So obviously, he cheats on Jane, with her new assistant... It's the part of the show, that make me count episodes, until he and Alison finally start dating. Richard is struggling to keep his dark side in check, and Jo is just too annoying and useless this season. Speaking of which, Matt takes the cake with his passive aggressive attitude towards Alan, and the fact that he slept with the hospital's gossip... I hate this storyline, but at the same time, it's the way it is for characters on this show this season. Alycia disappointed me, but once again, the show is called Melrose Place. And the way Bobby was destroyed, to prepare his big exit, is sad. But we all knew he wasn't mean to have a happy ending with Amanda. Who appears just as despicable as ever, each time one of her men shows signs of weaknesses. Sidney is the bad comic relief, and Michael just keeps paying for all his indiscretions with women. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. I like his sort of bromance with Peter. And the part where Kimberly/Betsy tries to cut out his thing, always cracks me up...
