It is an episode where Terry meets someone who is straight as an arrow rather than someone dodgy.

Dafydd Evans is a talented darts player who learned to play while working in the middle east. However he is not keen to use his skills to hustle people.

When Terry introduces Dafydd to Arthur. He spots an opportunity to make a nice little earner.

Especially as Arthur needs some money to repair a customised Corvette which was stripped by some kids in a housing estate.

Arthur becomes Dafydd's manager and enters him into some pub darts tournaments. The Arthur Daley Pro-Am Darts Tournament, well if Bob Hope could do it then so could Arthur.

It is a story where you really think Arthur is down on his luck and the readies. He ends up borrowing money from Terry and Dave.

There is one big fight scene for Terry as some low lifes injure Dafydd's hand. It is an episode with some broad support characters such as the teddy boy Ted, the Elvis loving mechanic who is looking after Des's garage.

Sean Mathias who plays Dafydd is a Tony nominated director. It also features Gary Olsen in a small role. He would become more famous for The Bill and 2point4children.
