This is another episode heavy on sentimentality as Pete's childhood friend - blind from birth - is given an operation that restores her sight. But is it a triumph or only temporary?
I am not a big fan of the episodes that devolve into melodrama territory, so this isn't one I'd recommend.
The crime aspect of this one is barely there. During a botched robbery, a perp falls to his death from a roof despite Pete's attempt to save him; his partner wants revenge.
I did think it was funny that the series showed another fur heist - they had just done that two episodes earlier.
Beverly Garland was 46 here but looks younger than she did on MY THREE SONS just a couple of years earlier.
