This is a classic episode we all remember, all about Robbie getting on the track team but having some setbacks. Comes a clever idea from his girlfriend Cathy (played by Sharon Farrell), who suggests he enroll in her ballet class --which would improve his speed and agility? Ya think?
Actually, as you watch this story, and if you are into track and field, it's not really a bad idea... but it takes a little adjustment.
Veteran actress Jeanette Nolan plays Cathy's wise and graceful ballet teacher, Madame Irina. This was a complete turnaround role for Nolan, who usually played tough ladies (with a shotgun) in many tv westerns. Sharon Farrell is also good here, who was popular on tv and appeared in many classic movies. She passed recently in 2023.
Ermie has a super side gig, playing James Bond, Jr, usually hiding out in trash cans and closets. This no doubt was a salute to the recent James Bond flick, THUNDERBALL. Actually, Ernie comes off more as Don Adams from GET SMART.
