There are things in this episode that are quite heavy. Earlier, Maurice was visited by a Korean family. Duc, a young man, proved to be Maurice's son through a dalliance while in the war. Now the son has come back to ask Maurice's permission to marry. At first this is no problem though Maurice would be happy if they weren't there. But then it gets serious. The woman he is to marry is the daughter of a death camp commandant who tortured and killed comrades and friends. The results are quite striking. In other things, Ed decides to dub "The Prisoner of Zenda" using a dying Indian language. He butts heads with a well known native actor who feels Ed is overstepping his bounds. Ed learns a lot about relationships and about what a director does. Finally, Holling is oversexed and frustrated with Shelly's unavailability. This whole part was borderline stupid.
