The Family Ties (#2.7)
ComedyFan201010 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Now that Lindsay is kind of part of the Cohen family it is a bit weird for Ryan to date her since he is kind of a part of it too. Seth tries to be a bad boy to impress Alex and by doing it gets drunk and tells Zack's confession and steals his grandpa's car. Jimmy decides to move out of the city after Marissa catches him having an affair with Julie.

A pretty good episode. Lots of humor thanks to Seth. Him being drunk was indeed funny and him stealing the car of Caleb was especially great especially as cops caught him so fast.

I am pretty sad to see Jimmy go, I noticed that he is not the most popular character but I always liked him. And I do think he was a good dad to Marissa.

Seth's going' bad!

Warning: Spoilers
After Caleb's confession, The Cohens try to welcome Lindsay as part of the family. Jimmy is faced with a choice when Marissa finds out about his relationship with his ex-wife, Julie. Seth attempts to be a "bad boy" like Ryan to impress Alex. Summer finds out what Zach did on his Christmas break while Ryan and Lindsay want to know if it is too awkward for them to be together.

I almost forgot to say how much I love Marissa's red car.

Seth got drunk and Zach trusts him with a secret that could cause a fight between him and Summer. And it does, their first fight that's not about Seth Cohen (kill Zach now, he's just the element between the cutest couple on the show).

I can't believe that the actor that played Zach is the same actor that played Grant Gabriel on "Smallville", except his voice... nothing is like his O.C. appearance.

I feel so bad for Marissa... this girl truly never catches a break. I genuinely feel so bad, it's like all of her storylines so far has been extremely depressing...

I'm assuming the actor of Jimmy wanted to leave the show, but I wish they came up with better excuse as to why he was leaving. It just felt so bad seeing a dad leave his daughter while she's in that state. I'm so scared to see where Marissa will end up.

I really don't care for Ryan and Lindsey, it's a boring couple for me.

Seth was alright in this episode, I haven't enjoyed him in season 2 as much as I did season 1.

Summer and Zack were cute in this episode, I hope they actually stay together for a while.

I'm gonna miss Jimmy, I actually liked him as a character :( it's gonna be a big part of the series gonna with his dynamic with Marissa, Kristen, Sandy, and Julie.
