While I'll admit the episode is silly, it has NOTHING to do with Roseanne hosting an award show. I don't even know if the person who wrote that actually watched the episode lol. Roseanne wants 10 minutes of peace and quiet to herself, and while waiting for it, she falls asleep on the bed and dreams that not only is her bathroom now exotic and huge, but it comes with two "studs" who are there to help her. When she keeps getting interrupted by her family, she "kills" them off, one by one, is arrested by her sister, and has her trial with everyone including her family, praising her, by musical, saying they are crazy about her.

I'll admit, I used to not enjoy this episode, but after watching it on Netflix a million times it's grown on me, and I found myself singing the song they sing while making dinner, doing laundry, in the store... It's catchy!

Roseanne wants to take a bath. But her family makes it hard for her to get one. So she falls asleep and has a dream of a perfect bath, killing her family and then going through a court which pretty much turns into a musical.

That is a weird episode. I get the point, it is supposed to represent the big wish of a family woman to take some time to relax and how family makes it impossible so she figuratively wants to kill them.

It is not great as we don't have a nice story and a usual Roseanne atmosphere. But it has some fun in it as we see the "soft porn" for women with luxurious bath and hot hunks. And the cast singing is not ordinary, they must have had fun filming it.

If you are a first time Roseanne watcher. The episode is pointless and nothing about it is funny. Roseanne hosts an award show in her bathroom and it just becomes some wild stupid fantasy. Skip. I've only seen it once and that was 15 years ago. Mistake. I don't know what the producers were really thinking here and in 1989, it is still no excuse. Audiences weren't that dumb back then, were they?

It's sad to see a very bad episode this early on in the show, because when you get to season 9 the bullets start flying. I would just skip the entire last season and watch the last episode just to laugh at. This isn't THE worst episode, but it has to be one of them. Too bad we just can't include season 9 as one terrible episode.

A lot of people dislike this episode, but I love it. It's so funny and the song is so catchy. Honestly it's super cute. You gotta watch it. Every episode has a place and this one fits right in with the fact that this entire show is all about Roseanne. And the fact that Roseanne is always putting everyone before her needs. All she wanted was 10 minutes alone in her bathroom. You can't have a great show without a little singing. Trust me, the more you watch the episode, the more you will grow to appreciate it. Give it a chance. And enjoy watching one of the greatest shows ever made.
