I heard about Silk Stalkings back in the 1990s because I was a fan of The A-Team which was created by Stephen J. Cannell, and he created Silk Stalkings. Anyway, thankfully I'm now able to watch the episodes on social media. Brian Trenchard-Smith, famous for directing the 1970s cult movie classic The Man from Hong Kong, directs Dirty Laundry. Anyway, this episode deals with a congressional scandal, and the fallout from that, with the widow wallowing in her missed opportunities as the 'good wife' who put up with her husband's dalliances with younger, pretty things pretty much 24/7 on tap really.
