Episode 77 begins with cash-strapped Chester making an offer to purchase the construction company from Burt and Danny,and using a worthless IOU.Jessica and El aimlessly drift in their rowboat,until they safely reach the shore of the neighboring island of Martinique,where Billy has been staying(El renames Billy "Nephew of the Pig").Jodie and Maggie attend a carnival fair,where the hapless Carny(Robert Costanzo)directs them to Albuquerque in search of a fire eater.Danny discovers Gwen conducting her usual business with regular "clients" in her motel room(Dan Barrows cameos as Dr.Yalowich,posing as a "quarter pounder," complete with bun).A suitably touched Gwen's heartfelt reaction to Danny's jealousy:"do you want to make love to me?" He admits he does,convincing her to postpone her "business" while in his protective custody(Gwen:"you're the first guy who ever asked me not to do what they normally pay me to do!" adding "you really do? want to make love?" Danny:"I can't,I mean,I CAN! I just won't,I would have to arrest myself and frankly I don't think I could do it!")

The writing seems to have suffered greatly in season 4. I know they added writers, but they seem to just be making stories, rather then funny stories. I never even smiled during this episode. I can't blame the actors, because they are top notch.
